Scope: help a successful granite and marble company upgrade their digital marketing in order to better connect with their target customer
Our client, American Marble & Granite is a well-established Camas, WA company best known for their granite, marble and quartz counter tops. They want a new website that’s easy to add content to and for search engines to find. They’ve done some social media including Facebook and Houzz, but know they can and should do more.
AMG hired Workshed to build a new WordPress website that demonstrates not only the beauty of their craftsmanship, but also the unique process they use to layout and fabricate the stone slabs using photoshop and AutoCAD to find the best way to seam slabs with intricate vein patterns together. Additionally, they use a super-precise water jet CNC machine for cutting the stone, enabling them to do intricate and detailed fabrication that most shops can’t do. We’ll help them tell the story of why they do it this way and how it benefits their customers.
Beyond their counter top business, they’ve developed some great products that can be sold via e-commerce such as custom tile vent covers (who wants an ugly metal grille on a tile floor?) and split-faced stone tiles made from the small leftover bits of stone slab from the counter top business. Either of these products can be sold through the website and shipped anywhere in the country. We’ll design the website to make the process for someone to buy from them as easy as possible.
